What happens to my bill if I switch from my Utility?

Switching to Grand Energy will not affect your current service. Your electricity will continue to be provided by your Utility. The difference will be in the amount that you pay for the usage part of your bill

What is an Energy Supplier

A retail energy supplier/provider can help you secure a rate for your electricity or natural gas. Unlike your local utility, a supplier can provide you with options not available from your local utility.

Enrollment Questions


Will I be switching utilities when I choose a Grand Energy plan?

No, you will not be switching utilities. You will be using the same utility, but the supply portion of your bill will come from Grand Energy. The delivery charges will be the same.

Will I experience any service interruption when I switch?

No, there will not be any interruptions to your energy supply. It will continue to flow as it did before switching.

Are there any monthly fees?

If there are any fees, it will be outlined in the Terms and Conditions associated with each plan.

How do I enrol with Grand Energy?

It’s easy. There are 2 ways to enroll with Grand Energy. You can either call our toll-free number and speak with an agent, or you can enroll online using our enrollment form. To prevent any delays, you will need your current utility bill.

Am I enrolled once I submit my enrolment?

When you submit your enrollment, you will receive a confirmation email, confirming your enrollment submission. We will review your application and notify you of the start date.

How will I be billed?

You will receive a bill from your utility. Grand Energy provides the supply charges, and your utility will provide the delivery portion of the bill.

What is "green" or "renewable" energy?

Green energy, or renewable energy, is the energy that is created using a renewable source – such as wind power compared to traditional power generation that uses fossil fuels.

What are the advantages of renewable energy?

The advantages of renewable energy is that your energy is produced using sources that have a smaller carbon footprint. Additionally, when you purchase a green plan, you also support the renewable industry as a whole. You participation allows new renewable projects to be created.

Is Green energy the same as traditional "Brown" energy?

Yes, the electricity produced is the same. The only difference is the source generating the electricity.

Why does green energy cost a little more?

Renewable Energy projects are relatively new and smaller as a whole. Typically, green energy will cost a little more than electricity generated from traditional sources.

Do I need anything added to my meter to allow for Green Energy?

No, the electricity is the same. The only difference is selecting a Green Energy plan at the time of enrollment.

What is Grand Energy Rewards?

Grand energy rewards is designed just for our customers. Each month we deposit Reward Dollars into your account that you can use in over 500,000 ways. Things like local and online shopping,  saving at your favourite local restaurants, travel, entertainment and more. Plus, there are bonus gift card giveaways, fun challenges, and more!

How do I use my Rewards

It’s easy! Simply log into your Rewards account and scroll through to check out the different benefits.

How do I log into my account?

Head over to the program website at GoGrandEnergyRewards.com, and click “login”.

Your username is your 10-digit phone number and your password is your 5-digit ZIP code, so it’s easy to remember. Alternatively, if we have your email on file, you can always click on one of the Reward emails we’ve sent!

I forgot my username / password

No worries! your username is your 10-digit phone number associated with your account, and your password is your 5-digit ZIP code.

Do Rewards Dollars expire?

Never! your Reward Dollars are banked month-over-month and don’t expire. So if you earned $50 in Reward Dollars this month and don’t use any, you will have $100 in Reward Dollars next month when we make your next $50 Reward Dollars deposit on the first of the month.

Can I use Grand Energy Rewards on my phone?

Yes! the program is fully mobile-optimized. There’s no app download or anything like that. Simple visit the Rewards program site on your phone, login, and enjoy!

How often do I get more Reward Dollars?

Every month! We make a new Reward Dollars deposit on the first of every month as long as you are an active Grand Energy customer.

How much does it cost?

It’s free! It our way of saying “thanks for being part of the Grand Energy family”.

Which benefits use Reward Dollars and which don't?

Great question! Reward Dollars are used on purchases for:

What is "Daily gift card giveaway"?

With the Daily Gift Card Giveaway, you have the chance to win an Amazon gift card every day of the week! The giveaway runs from 9 a.m. EST to 9 p.m. EST every day. As long as you’re an active Grand Energy customer, you are eligible to enter everyday and your entry is always free. All you need to do is log into your reward account and click “Enter” in the Daily Gift Card Giveaway area. At 9 p.m. EST, a winner is automatically selected from the day’s entries and a “Congratulations” email is sent to the winner.

What is "Pick to Win"?

Pick to Win is a free benefit that doesn’t require any Reward Dollars to play. Every few weeks a new Pick to Win challenge is shown – it could be a trivia question, or a fun prediction for an upcoming event like a sports championship or an awards show. Select the answer you think is correct, and if you are right, you’ll get a bonus reward.

What is "Epic Gift Card Giveaway"?

With the Epic Gift Card Giveaway, you have the chance to win an epic prize of a $500 Visa gift card every season (4 times per year)! As long as you’re an active customer, we’ll automatically enter you on the day of the drawing, and if you’re the lucky winner, you’ll get an email with your gift card.

What is "Daily Deal"?

The daily deal features one of the day’s very best deals. It could be a totally free gift card , or a product that’s up to 70% off. If you like the deal and want to take advantage, simply click “Get this Deal!” in the Daily Deal section.

What is "Grocery Coupons"?

Simply search by popular categories and select the coupons you like best! Once you’ve made the selections, click “print coupons” and take them to your local grocery store to save, r you can digitally load the coupons to your grocery store loyalty card and save by swiping your card at checkout. It’s that easy!

What is "Online Shopping"?

Online shopping works like Amazon or other eCommerce sites. Browse a wide variety of products in categories like tech, beauty, athletic apparel, home goods, and more. If you see something you like, click on it and it’ll show the cost, and how many Rewards Dollars you can apply towards your purchase.

What is "Dining"?

The Dining benefit offers a variety of restaurant and takeout savings from your favorite local restaurants. Simply plug in your ZIP code to find offers near you. Click on the offer you like best, and you’ll be able to use reward Dollars to unlock great savings.

What is "Travel"?

The travel benefit is similar to other travel sites you might be familiar with. Simply plug in the destination you’re looking to travel to and you’ll be shown the hotel and resort deals available to you. You can use Reward Dollars towards savings on your next booking.
